Future Care Homes LTD was started by James Purser and Katrina Baker in 2007 with our first service being in Brightlingsea providing support to persons with a learning and physical disabilities.
In 2012 Future Care Homes LTD then opened our second service in Halstead where we provide Residential Care and support for persons with a moderate to severe learning disability autism and challenging behaviour.
Futures Halstead Supports individuals aged from 17 Years old with Complex needs and learning disabilities who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
Futures Halstead is situated near the town and provides Accommodation for 12 people to live comfortably and within the service there are two 2 bedroom self-contained flats.
Futures Brightlingsea is situated near the town centre and provides residential and respite accommodation for persons with a learning and physical disability ages 18 to 64. For up to 9 people.
We are uncompromising in the way in which we design and equip each home and, along with our dedicated staff team, recognise that creating positive lifestyles and meeting individual needs is paramount. Each home is spacious and wheel chair friendly.
In line with current CQC Regulation within a framework of positive behaviour support and a person-centred approach we aim to provide a safe and caring home with a focus on developing individual behaviour management strategies ensuring dignity, promoting independence, identifying and creating opportunities whilst reflecting choice and inclusion in decision making.
Futures Brightlingsea was the first development for ‘Futures Care Homes Ltd supporting adults with Learning and Physical Disabilities.
